What is "Name my Map"?
Name my map is a service that allows a domain name (ex. map.myname.com) to point to a map of the address you enter.
Are there any fees to use this service?
It is free to JB WebHosting, LLC customers who are using JB WebHosting, LLC's DNS servers. However the pricing structure might change in the future, and this service might no longer be free.
How do I use it?
Log-in to your account, and go to the domain name you want to use.
Scroll down to the "name my map" section, and click the "change" button next to "current service".
Click the "enabled" radio button, and press the "save changes" button. This will direct you to the "name my map" settings.
Enter your host (the host would be "map" in http://map.mydomainname.com for example) and address information. Click "save changes". You are now ready to use this new host.
Now, just enter the domain name for your map service, and that host (ex. map.mydomainname.com) will point to a map of the address entered.
